In addition to making documentary films, I also enjoy photography. Here’s a small selection from a photo reportage I made for the performance A Sports Play at the Kulturmarkthalle in Berlin (25/01/2026).
Marzahn
This intimate selection of photographs is part of my ongoing research for what may evolve into a larger project for filmArche. The images capture fleeting glimpses of Marzahn, a place once envisioned as a utopia for the citizens of the GDR – a meticulously planned dream of modernity and order.
Shot with a simple iPhone SE 2020, this modest reportage explores the tension between past ideals and present realities, revealing the echoes of a bygone vision refracted through contemporary daily life.
